Testing Process and Preparation

Dear parents, we are pleased that you have decided to take the first step toward unlocking your child's genius potential with the Quantum G test.

The Quantum G test is easy to complete and does not require special preparation or complex mental efforts. However, its successful completion depends on the child's attentiveness, concentration, and reaction speed. Therefore, to achieve the most accurate results, it's important to create a suitable environment—calm and comfortable—so that the child can fully concentrate on the test.

In addition, the testing system uses eye-tracking technologies and analysis of facial reactions through the device's camera, which allows the AI algorithm to evaluate not only the answers but also the subtle reactions of the child during the testing process. Therefore, to ensure the accuracy of the test, it is important to minimize external distractions so they do not affect the quality of data analysis.

To ensure the clarity and accuracy of the results, it is important to carefully prepare the equipment and the testing location. Below, we will provide several simple yet effective recommendations that you can follow to guarantee optimal conditions for taking the test.

General Information

Before you begin preparing for the testing, please ensure that all necessary conditions for its completion are met.

Testing Availability

Currently, testing is available only within the territory of the United States (for more details, see the User Agreement).

Restrictions on Testing Eligibility

Due to the specifics of the testing method and the current beta stage, there are restrictions for participants with certain developmental and functional characteristics, as well as for those taking medications that may affect testing results or render them impossible to issue (for more details, see the User Agreement).

Age Groups

The Quantum G testing is conducted for children of two age groups:

  • Younger group: 6 to 11 years
  • Older group: 12 to 16 years

Currently, the widespread application of testing for other age groups is postponed until the launch of the first phase of specialized education within the World of Geniuses project, scheduled for 2030.

Required Skills

The test is designed with age-specific characteristics in mind and does not present difficulties for children. For successful completion of the test, the child only needs to possess the following basic skills:

  • Understand spoken English and be able to speak in English
  • Be able to read in English
  • Be able to count to at least 20

Having ensured that all the described conditions are met, you can proceed to the main stage — the testing itself.

How to get access to the Quantum G test

  • After applying the ambassador's personal code and paying for the test (or after applying the gift certificate code), a child's account will appear in your account on the website.

The child’s account provides access to:

    • Flexible test scheduling
      • Choice of convenient testing date and time for its three sessions
      • Ability to change the date and time of testing sessions
      • Full control over the schedule
    • Ease of use
      • Direct download link for the official web application
      • “Start Test” button

Test Schedule

The testing consists of three sessions. Each subsequent session can only be started after the previous one is completed. The start of each session must correspond to the specified time intervals:

1Morning: from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM
2Afternoon: from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
3Evening: from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM

It is recommended to complete all three testing sessions in one day. The duration of each session is approximately 45 minutes. The next testing session can be started 4 hours after the beginning of the previous one.

All information regarding scheduled testing sessions is available in your account. This includes the date, time, current status of each session, and any schedule changes. At the scheduled start time, the “Start” button becomes active for one hour. If you do not start the session during this period of time, a “Reschedule” button appears, which allows you to reschedule all incomplete sessions for another day.

Test Rescheduling

If for any reason you were unable to complete the test at the scheduled time, you can reschedule the remaining sessions for other available dates and times.

If a child has already completed one or two testing sessions but cannot finish the remaining ones at the scheduled time on the same day, you can reschedule the remaining sessions to another available date and free time slots. Such rescheduling will not affect the quality and accuracy of the test, but will only slightly delay when you receive the results. The main thing is to complete the testing in full and in a comfortable manner for you.

Receiving Test Results

To receive the test results, all 3 sessions must be successfully completed. You will receive the results within 7 days after completing the test via the email address provided during registration. In case of any possible technical delays or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you in advance about the new timeframe for sending the results.

Important to Know

We pay special attention to the confidentiality and safety of each participant, so there are several important points in the testing procedure that are particularly significant.

  • In order to protect the child's interests and ensure transparency of the procedure, testing is conducted solely in the presence of one of the parents or the child's legal guardian.

Please consider this aspect when selecting the date and time of the testing sessions, as the presence of an adult is required.

Advance preparation
for quantum g testing

To take the Quantum G test, you will need a touchscreen device that meets specific technical specifications. The device must provide high performance. A quality front-facing camera is also required, properly positioned for the AI algorithm of Quantum G to function correctly, as it analyzes the eye movement and facial expressions of the person being tested. These technical requirements are necessary for a comfortable testing experience, ensuring that tasks are displayed clearly and without interference, and that the system functions smoothly.

Device Specifications for Testing

  • The device's screen must be touchscreen and have a diagonal of at least 11 inches;
  • It is recommended to use the latest updated version of the operating system;
  • The device must have a powerful processor and sufficient RAM to effectively perform complex tasks, ensuring fast data processing and stable application performance;
  • The front-facing camera must provide video recording with a resolution of at least FullHD (1920 x 1080);

Incorrect example: the camera is positioned on the tablet’s short side

You can check if your device is suitable for testing on our website.

Web App Installation

The next step after selecting a device for taking the Quantum G test will be to install a custom-built progressive web application (PWA). To make sure everything works smoothly, we recommend installing it through the Google Chrome browser. You can find the detailed installation instructions here.

Recommendations:

  • Install and test the application in advance, not on the day of the testing.
  • Ensure the application functions correctly on your device.
  • Important: To take the test, you must grant the application access to the device's camera and microphone.

Internet Connection

For testing, a stable internet connection of the device (tablet or laptop) via WiFi network is required. Check the stability and speed of the internet connection on your device in the room where the child will be taking the test.

The speed and quality of the internet connection are affected by the number of devices connected to the WiFi network. Therefore, if possible, disconnect all non-essential devices from WiFi during the testing.

In the event of interruptions or insufficient internet connection speed, testing will be suspended, and any incomplete testing sessions will need to be rescheduled for another day.

Minimum internet speedRecommended internet speed

Download speed: 30 Mbps

Upload speed: 20 Mbps

Download speed: 50 Mbps or higher

Upload speed: 30 Mbps or higher

You can check your internet speed using any reliable online service or website, such as Speedtest.

Testing space

  • Plan ahead when choosing a quiet, well-lit room for testing, taking into account the child’s comfort and the possibility of having an adult close by. The main goal is to create a calm, conducive atmosphere for concentration that will help the child undergo the test as effectively as possible.

When setting up the testing area, follow these simple recommendations.

Prepping the Workspace and Camera Setup

Quality video recording during testing is important for the accuracy of results analysis using the Quantum G system's AI algorithm. Therefore, pay special attention to preparing the workspace: properly set up the tablet or laptop, adjust the lighting, and ensure the child is comfortably positioned in the frame.

Child’s Positioning and Device Placement

  1. 1Choose a comfortable table and chair of optimal height for the child.
Correct example: a girl sitting comfortably with healthy posture at a desk and chair of optimal height
Incorrect example: a girl sitting with poor posture and her back curved due to an improper height of the desk and chair
  2. 2Place the device on the table so that the distance allows the child to comfortably touch the screen without changing their body position.
Correct example: a girl sitting at a desk with a tablet placed within easy reach for touch interaction
Incorrect example: the girl leans slightly forward to reach the tablet placed too far away
  3. 3The device camera should be positioned in front of the child's face, not lower than the level of their chin.
Correct example: a girl sitting in front of a device with its camera positioned at her face level, not below her chin
Incorrect example: a girl sitting in front of a device with its camera positioned below the level of her chin
  4. 4Use a stable and reliable stand. Ensure that it securely holds the tablet. The stand should not shake when pressing the screen or slide on the table.
Correct example: a stable and reliable stand securely holds the tablet
Incorrect example: the tablet stand slides on the desk
  5. 5It is important for the child to remain centered in the frame of the front camera throughout the entire testing session; this will help accurately analyze all necessary parameters.
  6. 6The child's head and shoulders should be fully visible in the frame.
Correct example: a tablet screen showing a girl with her head and shoulders fully in view
Incorrect example: a tablet screen showing a girl with only her head and the tops of her shoulders in the frame

The main thing is to ensure a comfortable and natural position for the child, making it easy for them to stay in that position throughout the entire testing session.

Lighting Adjustment

  • The child's face should be evenly and sufficiently lit.
Correct example: the boy’s face is sufficiently and evenly lit, making his features clearly visible
Incorrect example: the boy’s face is not clearly visible due to dim light and harsh shadows, indicating poor lighting
  • There should be no excess bright light or harsh shadows on the face, especially around the eyes.
  • A uniformly lit background should be used.
  • Exclude direct sunlight from the window.
Incorrect example: bright light from the window on one side and dim light from the other create uneven lighting and shadows on the girl’s face
Incorrect example: the girl’s face is poorly lit due to backlight from the window behind her
  • Create diffuse soft light without harsh shadows.

For lighting, we recommend using a desk lamp with soft diffused light. Position the lamp so that:

  • The light is be directed at the device from above
  • It does not blind the child's eyes.
  • It creates soft, even lighting on the face.
Correct example: a girl sitting comfortably with healthy posture at a desk, her face evenly lit as the desk lamp lights the device from above
Incorrect example: light from the desk lamp shines directly on the girl’s face and eyes
Incorrect example: a girl sitting in front of a tablet, with a desk lamp on the left unevenly lighting her face
Incorrect example: a girl sitting in front of a tablet, with an overhead light casting shadows under her eyes and unevenly lighting her face

If the child wears glasses, make sure there are no glare and reflections on the glasses when adjusting the light.

Correct example: a boy wearing transparent eyeglasses, his eyes clearly visible through them
Incorrect example: a boy wearing eyeglasses, his eyes hard to see due to lens glare

The eyes should be clearly visible throughout the entire testing process. The main goal of the lighting is to create a comfortable environment for the child and provide informative lighting for quality video recording.

Who Can Be in the Frame

It is important that only the child and one of their parents are in the frame during testing.

  • The parent should choose a comfortable position 6-10 feet behind the child and slightly positioned to the side.
  • Try not to sit too close behind the child to avoid distracting them
  • Position yourself so that you are within the device camera's field of view and you have a clear view of the screen.
  • Your face should be clearly visible and not obstructed by anything.

These details are essential for ensuring transparency during the testing process and protecting the child’s interests.

Pay special attention to ensure that your face is not too close to the child in the frame, to avoid being captured in the analysis zone of the AI algorithm of the testing system.

Correct example: a boy with his mother sitting in the background 6-10 feet away
correct
Incorrect example: the boy’s mother is sitting too close behind him
The parent is too close to the child
Incorrect example: the boy partially covers the view of his mother sitting behind him
The parent's face is not fully visible in the frame

What Should Not Be in the Frame

  • Images of faces: avoid having images of human or animal faces in the frame on walls, paintings, photographs, posters, as well as on clothing, television monitors, computers, and screens of other devices. These objects can affect the performance of the AI algorithm and impact the accuracy of the results.
Incorrect example: a boy sitting at a desk, with a TV showing a news broadcast behind him
Incorrect example: a girl sitting at a desk, with a poster featuring a female face in the background
  • Reflective surfaces: ensure that there are no mirrors, windows, aquariums, or any other shiny or reflective objects in the frame, as reflections from them can interfere with the quality of the video recording.
Incorrect example: a girl sitting at a desk, with a mirror on the wall behind her
Incorrect example: a girl sitting at a desk, with an aquarium behind her

Child’s Appearance

During testing, video recording will be conducted, so it is important that the child is appropriately dressed. Their appearance matters for ensuring high accuracy of test results, as AI will analyze the video recording.

Face, Hair, Accessories, and Headwear

The child's face should be completely open and clearly visible, without hair or accessories covering it.

Correct example: the girl's face is fully visible with no hair or accessories covering it
Incorrect example: the girl's face is partially covered with her hair

Headwear that can cover or darken the face, create shadows on it, or hide the silhouette of the shoulders will need to be removed during testing.

Correct example: a boy with his face uncovered and no headwear
Incorrect example: a boy wearing a baseball cap that casts a shadow on his face

If the child wears headwear for religious or medical reasons, please choose a type of headwear that will ensure the necessary testing conditions while being comfortable for the child.

Correct example: a Muslim girl wearing a hijab, her face and forehead clearly visible
Incorrect example: a Muslim girl wearing a hijab that covers most of her forehead

Eyes, Glasses, and Contact Lenses

For the most accurate and proper testing, it is very important that the child's eyes are clearly visible throughout the session. If your child wears glasses or contact lenses, we recommend the following:

  • Avoid glasses with tinted lenses and significant glare
  • Ensure that the frames do not cover the eyes
Correct example: a girl wearing eyeglasses, her eyes clearly visible through the lenses
Incorrect example: a girl wearing photochromic glasses, her eyes barely visible through the lenses
  • Use only clear contact lenses that do not distort the natural color of the iris
Correct example: a girl wearing clear contact lenses that do not alter her natural iris color
Incorrect example: a girl wearing colored contact lenses that alter her natural iris color

Significant glare on glasses or lenses that change the natural color of the eyes can significantly affect the validity of the testing results.

Makeup, Cosmetic and Medical Procedures

We recommend avoiding heavy and colorful makeup during the testing period.

Correct example: a teenage girl without makeup
Incorrect example: a teenage girl wearing bright makeup

Please do not schedule testing on days when your child will undergo cosmetic or medical procedures (including dental appointments) that could temporarily alter their appearance.

Avoid scheduling testing during the period:

  • After procedures that cause facial swelling
  • When muscle numbness is possible
  • If there is a risk of distorting natural facial expressions

Clothes

It is recommended to ensure contrast between the color of the child's clothing and the background to facilitate silhouette recognition.

For these purposes, it is preferable to choose clothing that highlights the child's shoulder silhouette well, and avoid loose, baggy outfits.

Correct example: a teenage boy wearing a T-shirt that clearly outlines his shoulders
Incorrect example: a teenage boy in a baggy hoodie, hood pulled up

We recommend choosing solid-colored clothing without large patterns or text. Especially avoid images of human or animal faces.

Correct example: a boy in a solid color T-shirt
Incorrect example: a boy in a T-shirt featuring a human face

Clothing should not have shiny elements. They can create glare that affects the quality of video recording.

Incorrect example: a girl in a T-shirt with glittering rhinestones
Incorrect example: a girl wearing a T-shirt that features a kitten face and has glittering rhinestones

During the testing period, we request that all participants appearing on camera wear clean, modest clothing. As we comply with legal requirements, appearing on camera without clothes, in underwear, or in any other inappropriate manner will result in the termination of the testing session.

Creating a Positive Atmosphere Prior to Testing

It is recommended to speak with your child the day before the test, explaining what the testing will involve and its purpose. It is important to create a positive mindset and to emphasize that this test will help gain more insights into the child's abilities and potential.

Make sure to point out to the child that this test is not a “quiz” or “exam,” does not contain questions from the school curriculum, and does not involve the evaluation of knowledge. The test is designed so that all tasks are understandable and do not require significant mental effort.

It is especially important to explain to your child that there are no wrong answers in this test. Each response provides valuable insight into their unique traits, abilities, and potential.

If your child is old enough, you may encourage them to review the information about the testing process on the official website, or go through it together to help them better understand what to expect.

  • Inform family members in advance about the date and time of the testing session to minimize potential distractions. Create a quiet, secluded environment where your child can work without unnecessary noise, conversations, or sudden interruptions. Ensure that household members are informed in advance and understand the importance of maintaining silence and being respectful during the testing session.
  • It is important that your child takes the test in a well-rested, calm state and with a positive mindset. Make an effort to ensure they are not physically or mentally fatigued the day before or on the day of the test, and that they get adequate sleep.

Pre-Test Readiness Check

Before starting the test, it is recommended to double-check the stability of the device setup, the speed and stability of the internet connection, and the app’s access to the camera and microphone.

Check if the lighting has changed, especially if it depends on external weather conditions.

Ensure that the child is calm and comfortable and feeling well. Verify that the room has a pleasant temperature and that the workspace is fully prepared for the test.

Starting the Test

At the designated time on the day of testing, a Start button will appear on the Testing Space page in your account. At the beginning of each session, a parent may initiate the test by clicking this button and completing the internet connection and device (tablet or laptop) setup check, without the child’s involvement.

  • Once setup is complete, seat your child in front of the camera in a comfortable position suitable for completing a 45-minute session, and position yourself behind them.
  • The next important step is to correctly align your child’s face within the on-screen square. Ensure that their entire face fits naturally within the designated frame and that they can remain seated comfortably and steadily without strain.

This step is important, as the Quantum G testing system’s AI will closely monitor eye movement, micro-reactions, subtle behavior cues, and emotional state of the child. Proper alignment ensures accurate and reliable testing results.

Right after the setup is complete, the test will begin. A virtual assistant will guide your child through the tasks, explaining everything step by step in a clear and friendly way. Ask your child to get ready, listen carefully to the assistant, and be prepared to begin the test.

Once the testing begins, try not to interfere—just observe quietly. Your role is to keep the atmosphere calm and neutral, without adding distractions. Give your child the space to focus and work independently.

Child’s Conduct During the Test

During testing, it is important that your child remains calm, focused, attentive, and follows the instructions provided by the virtual assistant. Each task allows only a few seconds for the child to respond.

To ensure the testing process is as accurate as possible, please instruct your child to:

  • Avoid using phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices; do not play games, listen to audio, watch videos, look around the room or shift attention away from the test tasks;
  • Not eat, drink, or chew gum during the test, and avoid any actions that could interfere with natural facial expressions;
  • Not cover their face with hands or any objects;
  • Maintain a natural body posture;
  • Maintain appropriate appearance and avoid exposing any parts of the body.

Please note that if the child is out of the camera frame for more than 5 minutes, the testing session will be automatically terminated. In this case, the session will need to be rescheduled for another day.

Please take time to explain to your child in advance the importance of staying fully engaged throughout the test and minimizing any distractions or reasons to leave the camera frame.

Guidelines for Parents During Testing

During the testing session, it is essential that a parent remains within the camera’s field of view and closely monitors the screen. This is required to verify parental presence and to help maintain the integrity and transparency of the testing process.

After testing has begun, parents should not:

  • Assist the child in answering questions, provide hints, or attempt to influence the test results. Parental involvement is permitted only in technical matters, such as connection issues.
  • Distract the child—for example, by speaking, making noise, moving around the room, or addressing the child.
  • Lose focus or stop monitoring the testing process.
  • Step out of the camera frame, turn away from the screen, or obscure their face.
  • Move too close to the child, make physical contact, or block the child from view.

By adhering to these simple recommendations, you help create a comfortable and supportive testing environment for your child.

Ensuring Silence

The testing environment must be quiet. External noises should not distract the child from completing test tasks. Any items or devices that could produce loud, sharp, or unexpected sounds (such as mobile phones, electronic gadgets, alarms, televisions, radios, or musical instruments) should be turned off, silenced, or removed from the room to ensure the child is not distracted.

Please remind those in adjacent rooms to keep noise to a minimum during the testing session. To help reduce external sounds, it is recommended to close all windows and doors.

If possible, ensure that no one else—particularly other children—is present in the testing room. We understand that ideal conditions are not always feasible; in such cases, please kindly ask others in the room to:

  • Stay out of the camera’s view
  • Refrain from speaking to the child, offering suggestions, or providing hints that may affect test results
  • Avoid moving around the room during the session to minimize potential distractions
  • Refrain from using phones or creating unnecessary noise to maintain a calm environment

Additionally, to support a distraction-free setting, please ensure that pets (dogs, cats, birds, and others) are not present in the room, as their presence may interfere with the child’s concentration.

Reasons for Suspension or Termination of the Testing Session

A testing session may be paused or terminated under the following conditions:

  • The Quantum G AI detects that the child’s face has been out of the frame for more than 5 minutes
  • Unauthorized individuals (anyone other than the parent present during testing) appear on camera
  • The AI detects partial or full nudity of the child or any other individual within the frame
  • The child’s face cannot be recognized due to poor lighting conditions (e.g., underexposure or overexposure), or if the face is obscured by hands or hair
  • The parent steps out of the camera’s view or turns away from the device being used for testing
  • The parent interferes with the testing process—by giving hints, moving closer to the child, or otherwise influencing the session

In such cases, the Quantum G AI will automatically pause the test, and a notification will appear on screen indicating the reason for the interruption. Once the issue is resolved, the test will resume from where it left off—either from the same task (if the child had not yet begun it), or from the next task in the sequence.

If you are unable to resolve the issue causing the interruption, or if interruptions occur more than five times, the testing session will be terminated. In such cases, we recommend addressing the underlying issues and scheduling a new session on a different day.

Details regarding the grounds for temporary suspension or complete termination of testing, as well as the conditions under which test results may not be provided, can be found in the User Agreement.

By following these straightforward recommendations, you will help your child feel calm and confident, ensuring a smooth and comfortable testing experience that supports the most objective results.
